Aligarh : The Department of Anaesthesiology, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised an extension lecture by renowned pulmonologist and critical care medicine specialist Dr. Anup Katyal, Adjunct Faculty at St. Louis Hospital, USA.
Speaking on the “approach to critically ill patients”, Dr Katyal an alumnus of AMU discussed the latest management strategies in critically sick patients including those with Sepsis and Covid-19.
He also talked about the latest guidelines and management strategies of Neuro-Critical patients’ management in detail.
The lecture was attended by faculty members of different clinical departments of JN Medical College.
Prof. Qazi Ehsan Ali, Chairperson, Department of Anaesthesiology, said the lecture was very beneficial for the residents and faculty members.
Prof. Rakesh Bhargav, Principal & CMS, JN Medical College & Hospital welcomed the guest.
Meanwhile, Professor Qazi Ehsan Ali delivered a lecture in the National Conference of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, where he discussed the strategies of management of Difficult Airway in Morbidly Obese Pregnant patients.
