Pan Card is a unique identity card of every Indian person. Every Indian whose age is more than 18 or less than 18 can make his/her card. Pan cards issues the income tax department.
It is used in financial transactions and also saves taxes like VAT, GST, and others.PAN Card is an electronic system whereby all the tax related information for individuals & entities is recorded by the ITD Depart. of India, under one single permanent account number.
Each taxpayer has his own unique Permanent Account Number (PAN). A valid PAN card serves as an important identity document for any individual or entity who displays it has all the vital details. It is important to carry this identification document whenever you plan to engage in major financial transactions in India.

Structure of Pan Card:
The full form of the pan card is a Permanent Account Number. The pan has unique alphanumeric characters. It has 10 Digits Alphanumeric Numbers in starting 5 Characters are alphabet then 4 Numbers and a single alphabet. It also contains your basic details like name, DOB, and father’s name. It has your Picture and signature too.
Eligiblity for Pan Card :-
Every Indian resident and non-resident Indian (NRI) who is residing in India can make this.Anyone can apply for a PAN card, but it is a mandatory requirement if you want to pay taxes.
All existing assesses, taxpayers or individuals eligible for filing their income taxes, whether they’re filing on behalf of themselves or others, should get an Permanent Account Number. Anyone who wants to engage in any kind of economic or financial transaction must quote their PAN (Permanent Account Number).
Types of Pan cards depending on age :
There are two types of pan cards depending on age
- Major Pan: Major Pan card makes that person whose age is more than 18 or 18. It contains a picture and signature.

2. Minor Pan: Minor Pan can make that teenager or child whose age is less than 18. It does not contain an pic.
Types of Pan depending on nature :-
The Income Tax Department has issued the PAN Card to different taxpayers who are classified into different categories. These include individuals, HUFs, companies, partnerships, NGOs and foreign citizens or NRIs. The different types of PAN cards are explained below:
PAN for individual
A PAN card helps individuals track and link their financial transaction which helps the tax department in calculating the total tax liability for the individual, on the basis of these data.
PAN for Companies
A PAN card for an entity looks similar to a PAN card for an individual. However, there is one exception: if you don’t have a photograph on your physical PAN card.
Instead of the date of birth, which is displayed on PAN cards for individuals, the registration year of companies/organisations is mentioned on the physical cards.
PAN Card for foreign citizens who lives in India
If you’re a foreign citizen who wants to invest in India, you can also apply for a Permanent Account Number (PAN) card. Unlike resident Indians who must fill and submit PAN Application Form 49A (PAN Card),
NRI’s and foreigners must fill and submit PAN application Form 49AA (PAN Card). Foreign citizens/NRIs can furnish their passport copies, copies of PIO cards, Aadhaar cards issued by UIDAI, and so on for verification purposes.

Documents Required :
You can apply for your pan card by using only Aadhar card.
How can I apply :
There are now two main organizations that give pan facility.
- NSDL e-governance: You can apply your pan through this site just fill up your form and pay your fees. Your Pan is successfully applied. A confirmation mail will receive on your given mail id.
- UTITSL ( UTI Infrastructure Technology and Sevices Limited):
Here you have to do the same process as above NSDL. Just Fill up the form and pay the fees.
Fees Structure :
The actual fees of the pan are Rs93 and it becomes a real fee of Rs109/- by including GST 18%.
How it Receive :
You can receive your Physical Pan card by Indian Speed Post and e-Pan by Mail. You can also download it by E-Pan on the Website.

Caution :
- An Indian person can keep only a single Pan number otherwise if they are found to have two or more pan numbers. Then He/She has to charge 10000/- like a fine for having two pan numbers.
- We don’t share your pan publically and any local sites and places.
- We don’t cut the pan and burn.
